The overall goal of the Somersworth Farmers Market is to combat obesity in Strafford County by increasing equitable access to healthy, locally grown or produced products.
Somersworth Farmers Market proudly accepts SNAP/EBT and provides weekly matching incentives to stretch benefits at the market!
The Somersworth Farmers Market was made possible through the generous support from Stonewall Kitchen and HNH Foundation.
The Somersworth Farmers Market offers free cooking classes and cooking demonstrations right at the market!
Cooking classes happen from 2-3pm in the Goodwin 2nd Floor kitchen on Monday June 25th and Monday July 30th.
Every person who goes to a cooking class or cooking demonstration will get $10 for free to spend at the Somersworth Farmers Market.
Cooking classes and demonstrations focus on fresh fruits and vegetables that are available at the market and show new recipes, ideas for food preparation, and how to make the most of a food budget.
